The two KHs, Ahgong and Kanghao, treated me a to belated birthday dinner at Din Tai Fung in Wisma Atria on Tuesday!
We didn’t order a lot; the portions were just nice anyway……
Kanghao’s 炸酱面 (zha jiang mian or noodles with minced pork in bean sauce)!
My egg fried rice!
I love their fried rice! It is always surprisingly light and not very oily. A dish that is so simple (eggs, rice and a little spring onions) yet so good!
Ahgong’s minced pork and mushroom noodles! They came just as Kanghao was finishing his noodles, haha!
We also ordered some 小笼包 (xiao long bao, steamed dumplings).
The traditional xiao long baos containing pork! Yum!
After biting a little hole in a xiao long bao and sucking all the soup gravy out, you can just swallow the whole thing, and feel really warm from the inside out. 吃在肚里，暖在心理？ Haha.
They also had some special xiao long baos containing chilli crab (apparently for a limited period only), so we decided to try some.
They tasted rather weird! I think chilli crab is much better eaten on its own! We all preferred the traditional pork ones!!! :P
A big THANK YOU to the two KHs for the lovely dinner! :)
