rings and things

Met Zhiqi for brunch on Sunday, 10 April. We wanted to try Food For Thought in Queen Street, but when we got there, it was completely filled. They said the wait would probably be around an hour, so we walked down the street and popped into TCC at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts instead.

Presented a very belated gift to ZQ for her birthday last December:

It’s a cute cat pen with a humongous pink bow I’d tied on!

She said she wasn’t very hungry so she ordered something light – a dish of some eggplant thing.

I had a chicken club sandwich. Delicious and extremely filling!

(I had it again at TCC at Marina Bay Sands on Friday evening and the egg mayo inside the sandwich tasted different. Not terrible. Just different.)

And of course I asked ZQ to take photos of my accessories of the day. Mixing metals again:

Blouse: Le’range, Isetan (Was wearing black shorts and gold slippers but you can’t see them!)
Sunburst ring: stall in bazaar at SGH
Owl ring: Forever 21
Brown stone ring: Topshop
Watch: Citizen, from random watches and spectacles shop near my place

Zhiqi, on the photo above: ‘This could be a nail advertisement!’

I like the owl ring! It’s very quirky. But I don’t really like the feeling of wearing rings. It makes my fingers sweat haha.
