And it was my sister’s turn to make madeleines today……

She dusted them with icing sugar. They’re more lemony than my mum’s, but still kinda hard……

Incidentally, dust is a rather special word, because it contradicts itself. To wit:

She dusted the cake.
She dusted the shelf.

Clearly dust can mean either adding fine particles to something, or removing fine particles from something. It encompasses two completely opposite meanings! Other words like cleave and sanction behave in the same way. Such words are called autoantonyms.
